For a while now I’ve been considering writing and creating a blog, and now here I am. Trust me, I wasn’t considering doing this because anyone truly cares what I have to say but more so for my own therapeutic needs. Feel free to head back to your Facebook news feed if I bore you.
Introduction:
I’m Emma. I am 23 years old, and a mother of two. Yeah I know, two kids by 23, WOW. Well, my youngest son was born when I had just barely brushed 19 and my oldest son is my fiance’s. (I suppose “step-son” would have sufficed, but I resent that term above all else). My boys are 5 1/2 and 4 and they are wonderful and a whole bunch of untamed chaos. They are loud, they are dirty, they are wild, and they are my pride and joy. I’m sure this blog is going to consist mostly of them, so you’ll see more from them later.
As I was saying, I am 23. I work a full-time job as an accounting specialist for a local school district, as well as attend college (also full-time) online for my Bachelor’s degree. I have 8 more classes to complete, and I have no current plans for returning anytime soon for my Master’s.
My fiance and I are planning our wedding for this fall, October 5th 2018. So, between mothering, working, schooling, and wedding planning, this blog is going to be my outlet and possibly some amusement for others along the way. There might even be some unsolicited advice for some other young moms out there and some encouragement that I wish I could have found online a few years ago.
Here goes nothing..

Great post! And so incredibly sweet of you not to call him, step-son. 😊 I became a mom soon after my 22 birthday. I can relate, but wouldn’t change a thing! God had His plans for us. 😊

Thank you! I definitely don’t like the term step, I just prefer son. We are all family! Yes, God always has his plans for us. 🙂

I agree, if we continue to trust His plans, we will continue to see the blessings that come with it.
